Travel Update

We understand that travel may seem a little more complicated than usual right now. We'd like to reassure you that our offices are open and our team are available to answer any queries you may have. We continue to monitor travel advice from the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development office, along with guidance from the Department for Education regarding educational visits, so our team can keep you informed on the most up to date travel advice.

The Department for Education is currently advising schools and colleges against overnight educational visits, and this remains under review. However, with many trips taking up to a year to plan, we understand that many group leaders will want to start planning their trips for 2021 and beyond.

The current advice also states that schools and colleges are permitted to take UK day trips. By choosing a day trip you can rebuild and reengage your students' interest in the subject, whilst allowing them to broaden their horizons through the wider benefits of learning outside of the classroom.

At European Study Tours, all of our UK destination itineraries can be adapted to suit a day trip. To view all our UK destinations, please visit our dedicated web page here.

Our Customer Promise

We understand that your school might want more assurances than usual when committing to a school trip in 2021. With this in mind, we recognise that you and parents may need more flexibility and reassurance when making your future travel plans.

We have listened to our customers’ feedback and have introduced some new measures to be able to provide you and parents with peace of mind when booking your next trip.

These measures include:

Financial Peace of Mind

To help ease the financial pressures on parents, we have adapted our payment terms to allow more time for making your group’s trip payments.

Furthermore, we recognise that you will require more flexibility for your 2021 travel plans.  We have multiple options to amend your booking should a COVID-19 restriction impact on your group’s trip prior to travel, and we will work closely with you to ensure the best possible outcome for your group.
