Find out what an exchange is, why it’s so important for our economy, and what’s involved in an IPO. Discover your own investor profile and test your talent as a trader during a realistic trading simulation.

Drie Ringen Brewery

The city of Amersfoort has had a long tradition of brewing beer, since the 13th Century beer has been its main industry. The Drie Ringen brewery was opened on 21st December 1989 and offers guided tours which explain the entire production process of the beer. The group will also be given a history of the beer and the brewery. At the end of the tour a question and answer session will be possible.

Royal Delftware Factory

Guided tour of a royal delft factory in the historic town of Delft, near Den Haag. The tour begins with the history of Delftware and the production process. Visitors are then shown the exhibition rooms, factory museum and the factory itself where the process of transforming clay into “porceleyne” is demonstrated. Visitors can also view the modelling and hand painting of the ceramics.

With four centuries of brewing knowledge and experience, Grolsch is one of the Netherlands oldest businesses dating back to 1615. A visit will demonstrate Grolsch’s combination of old-fashioned skill with innovative techniques from the raw material to the finished product. The tour consists of a welcome with coffee and tea, a short film about Grolsch and a guided tour around the brewery.

Schiphol Airport Amsterdam

Bus tour of Europe’s fourth largest airport, after Heathrow, Paris CDG and Frankfurt. Since 1981 business magazines have named the airport “Best Airport in Europe” over fifty times.  The students will be able to see all departments of the airport. Video commentary on the bus is in Dutch only.

Port of Rotterdam

A guided tour by "Spido" glass boat round Europe's leading port. The tour takes visitors past the industrial hub of the city: shipyards, docks and grain-silos. This trip along the waterfront gives the group a first-hand view of the port area.

Amsterdam Canal Cruise

An essential component of any trip to Amsterdam, a boat cruise along the canal can be arranged for you.

Palace Op De Dam

Situated in the centre of Amsterdam the palace was built as the city hall in 17th century. Renowned sculptors were brought to Amsterdam and famous painters such as Rembrandt contributed to the interior.

Willet-Holthuysen Museum

Owned by the Willet-Holthuysen family this 17th century mansion was left to the city on the proviso that it be preserved and opened as a museum. The house is lavishly decorated and furnished in the fashion of the time and contains many rare objets d’art; glassware, silver, fine china and paintings.

Walibi Holland Theme Park

This theme park enjoys a reputation as Europe’s top spot for rollercoasters. There are more than 50 attractions and shows.

Amsterdam Dungeon

Bringing 500 years of dark history to life in one terrifying experience, The Amsterdam Dungeon, a relatively new attraction to the city, takes visitors on a virtual journey through its gruesome past. On arrival, the sight of skeletons and the sounds of dark, Gregorian chanting makes for an eerie welcoming to the horrors of medieval Amsterdam.

Efteling World of Wonders

The most popular tourist attraction in the Netherlands and one of the leading theme parks in Europe. The attractions are themed around ancient myths and legends, fairy tales, fables, and folklore.

Royal Coster Diamond Factory and Museum

On their tour you will learn why Queen Victoria, Empress Sisi and King Rama V of Siam not only trusted them with their diamonds but took the time to travel all the way to Amsterdam to witness with their own eyes how we crafted the most sparkling diamond jewellery.
