Maths Trips to Paris
Bring the maths curriculum to life for your students with a trip to Paris. One of Paris' landmarks, La Grande Arche, La Defense forms an almost perfect cube. This impressive structure is situated in the business district and contains exhibitions about its construction, and features a scale model.
In a visit to Cite des Sciences & de l'Industrie, students will be able to grasp applications in understanding movement and calculating probability at it's permanent exhibition; Mathematique, which explores mathematics in the 20th century and Geometry.
Disneyland® Paris provides workbooks to its student groups relating to the maths curriculum, giving a visit to Disney a structure and theme, including Business Basics, Rides & Technology and Parades & Shows.

Part of Universcience,“Mathematique” is a permanent exhibition at the Cité des Sciences et de L’industrie. There are some fantastic easy-to-grasp applications that enable students to understand movement and calculate probability with workbooks available for Mathematics in the 20th century and Geometry. The "complexity and predidiction" part of the exhibition deals with contemporary mathematics and its scientific, industrial and social applications.

Forming an almost perfect cube, the arch measures 108 metres deep, 110 metres high and 112 metres wide. This impressive structure situated in the business district is now closed to the public but can be viewed from the outside.

Part of Universcience, this museum was founded by physicist Jean Perrin in 1937 and has a daily programme of some sixty presentations linked to its exhibitions and events to get to grips with science in a vivid and exciting way.
