French Language trips to Paris
French Language trips to Paris
Immerse your students in language in one of Europe’s most iconic cities
If you want your students to stop studying French and start speaking it, Paris is the place. It’s the perfect mix of immersive language practice and cultural adventure, all wrapped up in one of the most iconic cities in the world.
From ordering croissants in a boulangerie to navigating the Metro, students get to use their French in real, everyday situations. And let’s be honest – it’s a lot more fun practising vocabulary when you’re standing in front of the Eiffel Tower or navigating the Metro to the Louvre.

“My top pick of things to see and do”
Paris is packed with immersive opportunities to practise your French, but here are a few standout experiences I always recommend for language groups:
Arc de Triomphe
At the end of the impressive Champs Elysees, this famous landmark was commissioned by Napoleon in 1806 as a tribute to his victories.
Eiffel Tower
Probably the most famous of all the Paris landmarks, the Eiffel Tower majestically overlooks all of Paris.
French Language Lessons
Teachers, who are specialised in teaching French as a Foreign Language, make use of dynamic and communicative methods that are designed to develop oral expression and pronunciation, acquisition of grammatical structures and vocabulary with the support of various audio-visual and written materials.
French movie with English subtitles
Lost in Frenchlation offers private screenings of French films with English subtitles in a typical Parisian cinema to allow groups to learn about French language, culture and style through one of the country’s most well-known arts!
Musée du Louvre
The Louvre Museum, former residence of the kings of France, has for two centuries been one of the biggest museums in the world. The museum’s collections spread over eight departments.
Seine River Cruise
A tour along the river Seine will offer students the chance to see most of Paris’s sights and institutions from the river, including the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and the Louvre.
Stade de France
Experience a behind the scenes tour of this 80,000 seater stadium in St Denis (just north of Paris) which hosted the 1998 World Cup.
The Cinema Rex
The Cinema Rex or the Grand Rex is one of the largest cinemas in Europe and a shrine to Parisian cinema. The Cinema invites you to delve into its history and discover its secrets.

The most popular questions, answered
Paris has a way of switching language learning on. Students are surrounded by living, breathing French, hearing it spoken naturally and using it in moments that feel real rather than rehearsed. Confidence grows quietly but quickly when French stops being a subject and becomes a shared experience.
Esto designs Paris itineraries with curriculum goals firmly in mind, gently threading exam themes into everyday experiences. Students practise listening, speaking and interpretation in contexts that feel meaningful, helping learning settle in more naturally and stay with them long after the trip ends.
Language use is woven into each day, from navigating neighbourhoods to engaging with French culture and daily life. Students are encouraged to listen closely, respond instinctively and trust what they know, creating moments where French simply starts to flow.
Paris‑region groups usually stay at the Château de Grande Romaine, Esto’s exclusive accommodation created specifically for school groups. It offers a calm, welcoming base where students feel secure, and language confidence continues to build beyond the day’s activities.
Trips include accommodation, transport and a completely tailored itinerary designed around your students and learning priorities. Planning is thoughtful and unhurried, with the practical details taken care of so the focus stays firmly on immersion and confidence‑building.
Esto works alongside you as experienced tour designers, listening first and shaping the trip around what you want your students to gain. Support is steady and reassuring at every stage, giving you the freedom to focus on teaching, connection and those quiet language breakthroughs.
