“This is the largest museum in the Netherlands. There is a large selection of paintings from the 15th century, until around 1850, as well as decorative and oriental arts. If you only have limited time, head for the Dutch Masters on the 2nd floor, including Rembrandt’s ‘Night Watch’.
Plan a visit before June 2024 and experience the Frans Hals exhibition. Frans Hall was one of the most decisive painters of the 17th century, his idiosyncratic loose painting style was inspirational. Plan an inspiring visit to Rijksmuseum and see his masterpeices on display.”
