We joined Bodmin College on their Trip to London

We had a warm welcome from the group leaders of Bodmin College at the Shakespeare’s Globe, where the group had a guided tour and got to recite one or two lines on the stage which the group really enjoyed! This was followed by a workshop at the Globe, where they got to play a scene from Romeo and Juliet.

We then walked the group to Covent Garden where they had some free time to explore and get some lunch. The students really enjoyed this free time that they got to spend with their friends and have their own independence for a few hours.

In the afternoon, the group had another workshop at the Pineapple studios, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed! I would really recommend your drama / performing arts groups do this! This is very interactive, and every person in the group is involved. The students and teachers all loved this visit.

After the Pineapple studios, it was time for EST to say goodbye as the group went on to have their evening meal at Planet Hollywood, followed by the West End show, Wicked.

It was a lovely day out and great to see what we organise, in person!
