The museum has hands-on activities and holds the most significant and varied collection of computing hardware, software and documents in the world. The iconic machines are here, including the first Google server rack from 1999, the original 1976 Apple 1 autographed by the great Woz, the first Internet router called the Interface Message Processor (IMP) from 1965, and thousands of other pieces of computer history that bring the story of computing to life.
Exploratorium

The Intel Museum in California gives older students a fascinating insight into the world of computing, where they can explore how microprocessors are designed, manufactured and used in everyday technology. Through interactive displays and real‑world examples, the visit helps students understand the role of semiconductors, innovation and engineering in shaping modern digital life and the future of computing.
NASA Ames Centre
Located at Chabot Space and Science Center in Oakland, California, the NASA Ames Visitor Center is a hands-on exhibition that brings to life the thrilling, challenging and inspiring process of scientific discovery by showcasing the real stories and people at NASA’s Ames Research Center. Visitors step into the role of a NASA scientist through embarking on hands-on challenges, exploring more than 30+ objects that showcase Ames’ past and future, and getting to know real NASA scientists.
Silicon Valley Tour
Take a guided tour of the this world renowned high-tech hub and visit the campuses of some of the biggest names in technology. While it is not possible to tour the individual company headquarters this tour offers students an insight into this unique region. Students can however visit the Google Visitor Experience to see the amazing Mountain View campus – Google HQ. Admire the innovative architecture of the building and the grounds on which it sits. In the plaza you will find six interactive artworks facilitated by Burning Man Project, where students can interact with the Rockspinner, play with the life-sized Go game, count the number of pennies on Curious the bear, and take photos with the Orb, Halo, and Quantum Meditation II. Groups can also browse in the Google Store.
Stanford University Tour
Without Stanford University, there would be no Silicon Valley. Stanford University has become a wellspring of innovation, producing advances in research and the formation of many companies that have made Silicon Valley one of the most innovative and productive high-tech regions in the world.
