The Best Theme Parks in and around Paris

Looking for a bit of fun whilst visiting Paris? There are two theme parks located closed to Paris, Disneyland® Paris and Parc Astérix.

Parc Astérix, based on the comic book series Astérix, is a theme amusement park approximately 35km north of Paris. It is the second biggest theme park near Paris after Disneyland® Paris and incorporates themes from historic cultures as well as being well-known for its white-knuckle rides!

Disneyland® Paris has two parks; Disneyland® Park and Walt Disney Studios® Park and is located approximately 32km east of Paris. In the Disneyland® Park fairy tales come alive in the five incredible lands filled with thrilling rides, classic attractions, street parades and shows, as well as the unforgettable firework and light displays over the Sleeping Beauty Castle. In the Walt Disney Studios® Park there are five production zones where students can discover the secrets behind the most magical scenes of Disney film and television as well as experience live shows and fun rides.

A visit to a theme park can be visited as a stand-alone trip or as a side-trip from Paris.

Another unique experience is the FlyView® Paris where you get a birds-eye view of Paris through the magic of virtual reality technology. On a dynamic moving platform, you will feel all the sensations of real flight without leaving the ground. You will experience the city from a completely new perspective and see some of the most famous landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, and the River Seine.
