The American Museum of Natural History is one of the world’s preeminent science and research institutions, renowned for its collections and exhibitions that illuminate millions of years of the earth’s evolution.
Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum Complex
Housed on the aircraft carrier Intrepid which fought in WWII the museums unique collection spans a half century of technological innovation.
Staten Island Museum
The Natural Science Collection here includes more than 500,000 entomological specimans, shells and archaeological objects.
9/11 Memorial Museum
The museum explores the implications of the events of 9/11, documenting the impact of those events and exploring 9/11’s continuing significance.

American Museum of Natural History
The American Museum of Natural History brings science to life with giant dinosaurs, glittering gems and mind‑blowing space displays, including the spectacular Rose Center for Earth and Space and the Hayden Sphere. Students will discover meteorites, fossils and planets while exploring how Earth and the universe have evolved over billions of years in a fun, immersive way.
Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum Complex
Housed on the aircraft carrier Intrepid which fought in WWII the museums unique collection spans a half century of technological innovation. Highlights of the collection are 27 aircraft, including the A-12 Blackbird and the British Airways Concorde, the Cold War–era submarine Growler and the space shuttle Enterprise. Students can explore topics in history and STEM through the museum’s education programme.
Staten Island Museum
The Natural Science Collection here includes more than 500,000 entomological specimens, shells and archaeological objects. It is the mission of the Staten Island Museum to spark curiosity and generate meaningful shared experiences through natural science, art, and history to deepen understanding of our environment, ourselves, and each other.
9/11 Memorial Museum
The museum explores the implications of the events of 9/11, documenting the impact of those events and exploring 9/11’s continuing significance. It demonstrates the consequences of terrorism on individual lives and its impact on communities at local, national and international level. The museum is growing a permanent collection of artefacts, stories, photos, video and other materials.
Central Park
One of the great pleasures New Yorkers and tourists enjoy is getting away from it all in Central Park. Stretching 51 blocks between 59th and 110th streets, this 843-acre area, green rectangle has served its city well since 1859. From famous statues to castles, there is so much to see within this pastoral landmark.
Empire State Building Observatory
New York’s famous Empire State building soars more than a quarter of a mile above the heart of Manhattan. Located on the 86th floor, the observatory offers panoramic views from within a glass enclosed pavilion.
