The temple houses a fascinating exhibition, acting as a museum of Hinduism presented through appealing visual effects, paintings, tableux and traditional craft work.

Buddhapadipa Temple
The Buddhapadipa Temple is a Buddhist monastery covering 4 acres and includes an ornamental lake, a small grove, a flower garden and an orchard. The Uposatha or Shrine Hall of the temple is a holy place, which is the sacred house of all Buddhist activities and ceremonies such as Ordination. On the four interior walls are some masterpieces of typical Thai mural paintings to depict the Buddha’s lifetime.

Visit the oldest and most splendid synagogue in Great Britain. See its architectural significance and take a look inside to see the influence of the impressive sister synagogue in Amsterdam become obvious.
Walking Tour: East End Immigration: Huguenot, German, Irish, Jewish
The walk includes the Huguenots of late 17th century with their beautiful nearly 300-year-old silk weavers’ houses, the story of German settlement in the 18th century and then passes through the 19th century of Jewish synagogues and tailors. It then concludes with where the Irish people came to work and live in the 19th century and where the wealthy Swedish merchants lived and finishes at a great tribute to the cosmopolitan East End, when immigrants of all races and religions came together to say ‘they shall not pass’ – the beautiful mural depicting the events of the Battle of Cable Street in the 1930’s.
