“Hi, I’m Daniel, and I love being part of a team that helps teachers bring the classroom to life through unforgettable school trips. There’s something really special about supporting experiences that stay with students long after they’ve returned home.

My favourite destination has to be Nashville, USA. Before joining Esto, I worked in live events and toured internationally with theatre shows, so getting the chance to explore the home of music – where legends like Taylor Swift, Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton were discovered – was incredible. One of my favourite memories is watching Alex Warren perform in a tiny pub, as casually as if he were playing in my local.

What I love most about Esto is the people and the culture. There’s a real humanity here – everyone genuinely cares, works hard, and still makes time for a laugh, out‑of‑office fun, or a post‑work padel match. It honestly feels like a group of friends who just happen to work together.

For me, great working relationships come down to communication and understanding that none of us are perfect. My top planning tip? Be organised and create a plan – and thankfully, that’s exactly what we’re here to help with.

Outside of work, I’m happiest wild camping or hiking. After sitting indoors all week, there’s nothing better than getting outside, rain or not. I never travel without my AirPods, and on planes I’m usually either fast asleep or binge‑watching whatever show I’m obsessed with at the time. Travelling, for me, is all about experiencing new cultures and seeing the world beyond the UK – because, as St. Augustine said, “The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page.”
