Protecting our places and planet
Meaningful school travel comes with responsibility – and we take it seriously. We:
- Reduce our impact through careful management of our utilities – waste, water and fuels – through our Environmental Management System (EMS)
- Creating a culture of using less and being mindful of consumption with our colleagues
- Support UK tree planting in school grounds

We take practical steps to make a difference. Our work with Carbon Footprint to offset carbon associated with school trips (through tree planting and supporting participation in Verified Carbon Scheme – VCS – offsetting), we’re working to protect the places students explore – now and in the future.
And through our Reachout volunteering and fundraising, our teams get involved in causes that matter, supporting the communities we’re part of at both a local and national level.
