Psychology LIVE! is the best possible way to spend time outside the classroom whilst bringing Psychology studies to life. This immersive event gives students the opportunity to meet experts face-to-face, gain insight into the subject and inspiration for their future careers
Our expert speakers will present the most current issues with presentations linked to key topics covered in the AQA, OCR and Edexcel A Level curriculum. Through their real-life experiences our speakers will help the students understand how psychology is applied in the real world such as the contribution of psychology to individual, social and cultural diversity, and ultimately to a successful society.
While enjoying and being immersed in the Disneyland® Parks, the Park Challenges encourage students to take a step back and look at the resort from a psychological perspective. Students are given simple experiments to complete which allow them to develop arguments and draw conclusions about how psychological principles/theories are applied across the resort in order to stimulate specific behaviours and responses.

Who is Psychology LIVE! for?
Psychology LIVE! is a great fit for KS4 and KS5 Psychology students.
The event is aimed at Key Stage 4 and 5 students of Psychology and is designed to complement studies within the AQA, OCR, Edexcel syllabus as well as complementing WJEC and SQA qualifications. It is aimed at encouraging and developing an enthusiasm for the subject as well as inspiration for how to progress further in the subject.

Professor Richard Wiseman

Dr Matt Pritchard
Matt combines scientific knowledge with amazing communication skills. Winner of the Institute of Physics’ Lecturer Award for his talent for explaining challenging concepts engagingly, he later joined the Thinktank Science Museum, where he helped develop educational shows for learners.
Now an independent science speaker, he performs to more than 30,000 people each year with organisations such as The Royal Society, the Royal Institution and the British Science Festival.
