The most popular questions, answered
Students step into a professional, industry‑focused environment where media is explored as it exists beyond the classroom. Through expert-led sessions, they gain insight into how content is created, shaped and shared, helping theory feel more relevant and applied.
Students hear directly from industry professionals, take part in live Q&A sessions and explore practical ideas through a structured workbook. These moments encourage them to think like creators, audiences and analysts, all in one experience.
The event is designed to link directly to GCSE and A‑level Media Studies, supporting key areas such as audience, representation, production and industry. Real examples and case studies help students strengthen their understanding and feel more confident applying knowledge in exams.
The tone and content are carefully pitched for KS4 and KS5 learners, treating them as young adults preparing for further study or future careers. It challenges their thinking while staying clear and accessible, encouraging independence and deeper discussion.
We take care of accommodation, transport and the full conference experience, including event access and student workbooks. Everything is planned in advance, helping the trip run smoothly and keeping the focus on learning.
Groups often stay close to Disneyland® Paris or at our exclusive Château de Grande Romaine on the outskirts of the city, giving a balance of convenience and space to unwind. Our Events Team will be there throughout, supporting your group and making sure everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
What teachers say about Media LIVE!
“I cannot recommend this trip enough, I’ve already started plugging it to other media teachers in other schools!”
Homewood School
“My Media students loved the conference, they were engaged and felt that the information presented was relevant and gave them food for thought. The speakers were all excellent and the content was relevant to what the students are learning especially the A2 media programme. The students highly enjoyed it!”
Bacons College
“Esto are always available for support over the phone so the service that they provide is always really good. The conferences are always great with opportunities for students to access speakers that they wouldn’t ordinarily be able to. The speakers were excellent again this year and very inspiring. Excellent service as always and very reliable when needed e.g. with the bad weather the week prior to the trip.”
Garforth Academy
“Everything we asked for you delivered so we are very happy with the trip overall. We loved the bright lime green outfits (nearly as much as the staff 🙂 ) – it made them easy to find and this helped a lot in the chaos of arrival amongst hundreds of guests! …the evening of arrival was excellent and the staff went out of their way to serve us and make us feel at home. They came over to chat to us and they were friendly and professional.”
Bishop Foxs School
“The media conference was excellent for relevance and the students found it around a 9 or 10 for engaging.”
Sir John Deane’s College
“On site support was excellent. Staff were friendly and accommodating whatever the time of day.”
Hereford Sixth Form College
