Religious Studies School Trips

We have a choice of Religious Studies trips which offer students the chance to visit some stunning monasteries and churches and delve into the different religions and faiths around the world.

On a trip to Krakow your students can follow the Jewish population experience under Nazi rule from Kazimierz District which formed the Krakow Ghetto, to the Final Solution at Auschwitz-Birkenau.  In contrast, Rome has been a sacred place and internationally important city since ancient times and is now the centre of Catholic Christianity. With its wide choice of ancient temples, synagogues, churches and shrines, makes it a great city to explore the holy places of a variety of religious traditions.

New York is the original Immigration Gateway to the USA a vast array of religions and cultures have made the city their home, making it a great place to study the concepts of citizenship and diversity. London is also one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world therefore provides the perfect destination to learn about various religious practices, places of worship and gain a greater insight into the history and teachings of the different religions and theologies. One of the most famous places of worship is St Paul’s Cathedral which runs curriculum linked workshops. London is also home to the largest Hindu Temple outside India at Neasden, and the London Central Mosque houses an exhibition, the first of its kind in the UK, which provides visitors with a visual journey through the Islamic faith.
