Maths Live! Educational Maths Event
Maths Live! is designed to give learners the opportunity to come face to face with expert speakers whose knowledge and skill will add value to the teaching and learning experience. As part of the immersive educational experience, each student will receive their own workbook in advance of the event for pre-trip preparation as well as including park challenges for them to complete throughout the course of the weekend, all covering the fundamentals of Maths at Key Stage 4.

Students will be provided with a workbook prior to the conference which will include a programme of the event as well as background information about the speakers. The workbooks will include park challenges to complete and are a great research tool to be used in the classroom prior to travelling to help students to prepare questions for the Q&A sessions at the conference. As part of this experience, students have the opportunity to quiz speakers, which is always lively, and the presenters are invariably on the receiving end of some testing questions.
