Educational History & Politics Visits

Educational History & Politics visits from European Study Tours!

At European Study Tours, we believe that subject specific visits are one of the most important parts of any tailor made tour. This is why we pride ourselves on offering the widest range of visits and excursions possible.

Our 2008/09 European and Worldwide brochures feature some exciting History & Politics destinations, and we have listed some of our most popular below:

Berlin: from £169.00
The story of Berlin is one of the most fascinating studies in 20th century history. Partition confirmed the city as the frontline of the Cold War and as a result there are few better places for students to study the superpower rivalry. The most popular historical visits are of course Checkpoint Charlie, The Topography of Terror and various Historical Guided Tours.

Krakow: from £229.00
The famous Auschwitz & Birkenau extermination camp just outside Krakow is the most popular visits in the area. There is also a wide range of additional visits such as the Wieliczka Salt Mines, Kazimierz (the Jewish Quarter) and Schindler's factory, where the award winning film Schindler's List was set and filmed.
You could of course feature Krakow as a twin or triple centre trip with Warsaw, Prague or Berlin to enrich your experience.

Georgia & Alabama: from £699.00
From the birthplace of the Civil Rights Movement to some of the critical battlegrounds of the Civil War, Georgia and Alabama offer unmissable experiences for any student of History, Politics or Law among others and make a great alternative to our traditional favourites of New York, Washington or Boston. Especially relevant in light of the recent election some of the most popular visits include The Martin Luther King Jr Historic Site, Rosa Parks Library & Museum and West (Kelly Ingram) Park.

We can of course tailor any package to suit your needs and offer extremely competetive prices. If you like the look of any of our visits, or would like some more information on our full range of History & Politics tours, please visit our brand new website, at
