Beech Hall's Geography School Trip
to Iceland

Geography students at Beech Hall School recently embarked on a chilly tour of Iceland, where they were able to take some magnificent drone pictures of their educational visits to the Solheimajokull Glacier, and Seljalandsfoss Waterfall.

"We investigated six companies and European Study Tours provided by far the best value for money with impressive organisation and support structure. Thank you very much for making this an outstanding trip for every member of our party!"

Among their tour destinations was a relaxing day at Blue Lagoon and a rewarding hike to The Golden Circle to take in some Strokkur and Geysir eruptions. Pupils even took part in a fun-filled quiz were they were challenged to sample fermented shark and puffin hearts!

"First class planning and organisation meant we always knew what was going to happen and when- and it did!"

The Beech Hall group opted to stay at Hotel Cabin located in Borgart, Reykjavik, not far from local shops and sites, with a beautiful view of the bay nearby.

"Breakfast was surprisingly high quality and the bar area was pleasant. Rooms were basic yet functional and spotlessly clean throughout the hotel"
