      We are all constantly surrounded by – even covered in – microorganisms such as bacteria. But while many people harbour negative associations with the word ‘bacteria’, most of them are actually good for us, helping us, for example, to protect our body against outside influences. At the innovative new Micropia museum, you can get acquainted with these invisible organisms. If you look at this world really closely, a new one opens up.

    Morning: Depart UK airport for flight to Amsterdam

    Afternoon: Arrive in Amsterdam and transfer to your accommodation.  

    Evening:  Take a Canal Cruise and evening meal.

    Day 2

    Morning: Visit to Artis Royal Zoo

    Afternoon: Visit to the Micropia Museum

    Evening: Evening meal.

    Day 3 

    Morning: Visit to the NEMO Science Centre

    Afternoon: Transfer to airport for return flight

    • MEININGER Hotel Amsterdam City West

      The hotel is located next to the Sloterdijk train station, in an outlying district of Amsterdam. The hostel is a modern, stylish construction. Rooms for students are 4-8 bedded using bunk beds. All rooms have private facilities, satellite TV, phone, hairdryers and air-conditioning and individual lockers. Towels are provided. Internet terminals in reception; wireless Internet throughout the centre including bedrooms.

    • Stayokay Zeeburg

      Located in a quiet neighbourhood in the east of Amsterdam. The nearest tram is 2 minutes walk and takes approximately 15 minutes to get to the city centre.- 4-6 bedded rooms all with private facilities

    • StayOkay Vondelpark

      Situated in a quiet location overlooking the famous Vondelpark. This modern youth centre is within walking distance of Museum Square. Dorm style rooms with 4 - 8 bunk beds, all rooms with private facilities, secure electronic locks, luggage lockers, meeting rooms, restaurant, TV lounge. Note: From March - Oct only available on half-board basis.
