Visit the Sigmund Freud Museum. Opened in 1971 on the initiative of Freud’s daughter, Anna, the museum is located in the apartment where Sigmund lived and worked from 1898 to 1938, when he was forced into exile by the Nazis.
Visit the Spanish Riding School. The Spanish Riding School of Vienna is the oldest and last Riding School in the world where classic dressage is still practised in its purest form. The Lipizzaner is regarded as the oldest classic horse race in Europe.
Visit the State Opera House. After its near-total destruction at the end of World War II in 1945, the state opera was rebuilt according to original plans and re-opened in 1955. Visit the Museum of Folklore. Founded in 1895 and housed since 1917 in the Schonborn Garden Palace in the Josefstadt district of Vienna, displays collections of the traditional folk culture of Austria and its neighbouring countries
