School Trips to Prague

School trips to Prague offer layers of excitement, culture and history. This city is both modern and traditional offering medieval architecture of castles and palaces, and a bohemian and lively atmosphere.

Behind the ancient facade is a city that has been rapidly modernising since the Velvet Revolution, which took place in the late eighties. Privatisation and capitalism are both evident in this city, offering business students a unique insight into both hi-tech and traditional companies.

For Business & Economic students Prague's transition to privatisation and the free market has been smoothed by foreign investment and a thriving tourist industry. Business visits are varied such as the Skoda Production Car PlantPrague Airport Tour and U Fleku Brewery. For Film & Media Studies students may go on a tour of the world famous Barrandov Film Studio which is a hub for film talent this side of the Atlantic and Radio Free Europe also open their doors to give students an insight into production methods. Finally, Prague is a great sporting city, we can arrange visits to both Sparta and Slavia Football Club stadiums and the Sparta Prague Ice Hockey Stadium as well as a visit to the O2 Sazka Arena which is a modern multifunctional sport and leisure complex.

With a UNESCO listed Old Town, atmospheric gothic architecture Prague has everything you need to create a memorable school trip that will enhance your students’ studies.

Top Tips from Our Travel Experts

"The river is lined with beautiful bridges that lead up to Prague Castle at the top of the hill. Take a cruise along the river Vltava to see some of Prague’s amazing sites. Prague Astronomical Clock is one the most visited sights in the city and well worth a visit. Located in Old Town Square, the clock marks not only the time, but also the months and the astronomical position of the sun and moon, making it sort of a tiny planetarium. Stand under the clock on the hour, from 9am to 9pm, to watch it chime. Make sure to buy a ticket to go into the clock tower for an amazing view of the city."
