For the first time in the UK in over 50 years works of Gauguin, the master French Post-Impressionist will be displayed. The Tate Modern this month opened the exhibition featuring both paintings and drawings by Gauguin from around the world. The exhibition is running until 16th January 2011.

The British Museum has amassed a massive collection of graphic art from across the world over the last 35 years, and this exhibition showcases many of the greatest artists of the 20th century – Picasso, Matisse, Magritte, Gerhard Richter and William Kentridge.
The exhibition is running until 25th April 2011.

The prize is worth £40,000, with £25,000 going to the winner and £5,000 each to the shortlisted artists. The judges this year are Isabel Carlos, Andrew Nairne and Polly Staple.
