The Giant's Causeway is renowned for its polygonal colomns of layered basalt. The formation of the Giant's Causeway was due to intense volcanic activity. Its the Middle Basalt Rock which forms the famous amphitheatres of hexagonal colomns in the Causeway.
The code is also a treasure hunt with clues hidden in each episode of the show, in a series of online games and blogs.
