The Enterprise Education Trust (EET) yesterday announced it's online enterprise programme, Achievers International has been shortlisted in the category of 'Enterprise of the Year' in the prestigious Nexus Commonwealth Awards 2013.
This award recognises organisations outside of the formal Commonwealth network which connect people and communities across boarders.
Achievers International's projects in a number of Commonwealth member countries was noted, as was EET's work promoting inter-cultural collaboration and understanding.
"EET feel that Achievers International is a true Commonwealth enterprise of note, committed throughout the organisation's values and words and deed to enabling development, promoting democracy and respecting diversity - and indeed for embodying the Commonwealth theme of 'Opportunity through Enterprise' in so many inspiring ways."
The Nexus Commonwealth Awards celebrate the role that individuals and organisations play in strengthening the commonwealth and helping it to make a difference to people's lives.

The Enterprise Education Trust was set up in 1977 by 3i to inform, involve and inspire young people about business and enterprise.
