Having studied graphics, photography and film, Richard Morrison initially worked for design companies and advertising agencies. In the late seventies he formed Plume, a design and production company for film and media specialising in title sequences, broadcast, branding and commercials. The conference will take place in Paris over two mornings, with speakers showing their work on the big screen and, of course, with plenty of time for Q&A. The conference aims to cover the most cutting edge topics in the industry in areas such as Animation, Special Effects, Short Films, Pop Promos and Post Production. In addition, students will be encouraged to submit a short film, folloing a specific brief, which will be shown at the end of the conference and judged by our panel of experts. As prize will be given to the winning entry.
The conference will be held in Paris, the home of new wave cinema and a fantastic city for your group to visit. Whilst in Paris there are no shortage of iconic film sights to visit, and we can also book meals for you to ensure your group gets the most from their trip.
